Jazz Fridays | Vinny and Ray Afro Cuban Jazz

Jazz Fridays at the Fairfield Museum are back! Every Friday in August, music lovers are invited to kick off their weekends at these free concerts held on the Museum Commons. Bring your own picnic and blankets/chairs and join us for a wonderful evening.

In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be cancelled and the Fairfield Museum will make every effort to reschedule the performance. Please check the Fairfield Museum website (www.fairfieldhistory.org) for weather-related updates.

About the Performer

Vinny and Ray performs hardcore Afro-Cuban, salsa, timba, cha cha, funk, samba, and Latin jazz. As one of the hottest Latin band in Connecticut, they are popular in New York and Connecticut. Vinny and Ray has performed with Tito Puente, Jose Alberto, Ray Barretto, Grupo Fasinacion, and more. Members include Vinny (singer, trumpet, flute, and percussion), Ray (singer, drums, and percussion), Victor (background vocals, piano, and percussion), Gus (trombone, trumpet, and percussion), Nathan (singer, conga drum, and percussion), Luis (bass), and Mark (tenor sax).
