In conjunction with the exhibition Pioneering Conservation, join a bird walk along Ash Creek led by Milan Bull, Senior Director of Science & Conservation at CT Audubon. The fall migration is under way, so expect to see & hear Greater Yellowlegs, Red-winged Blackbirds & songbirds at one of the last healthy tidal estuaries in an urban area in the United States

Space is limited. Advanced registration is required. $10 for Fairfield Museum Members; $15 for Non-Members.

 

Program Details:

  • Meet at the picnic tables along Ash Creek near 5 Grovers Avenue.
  • Please bring your own binoculars.
  • Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. We will be walking for extended periods, mostly on paved roads along Ash Creek.
  • Restrooms are not available.
  • No refunds will be offered unless the program is cancelled by the Fairfield Museum.
