Instructor Judith Bacal will share techniques for drawing outdoors during this free drop-in program. All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Materials will be provided. Co-sponsored by the Fairfield County Plein Air Painters.
Visitors can also explore all of the historic properties and try hands-on activities on the Museum Commons, home of the Fairfield Museum. More than 400 years of diverse stories can be found in the Victorian Barn, Sun Tavern, and Victorian Cottage, which has a dedicated early childhood space.
Donations are welcome.

About the Artist
Judith Bacal brings a wealth of creativity to her diverse skill set, spanning photography, sculpture, exhibition design, and problem-solving. With over three decades of experience, she has contributed her talents to renowned institutions such as The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk and The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, as well as numerous arts, history, and cultural organizations. Armed with a degree in Industrial Design, Judith recently embarked on a journey to obtain certification in teaching art, reigniting her passion for fine arts and art history. Her mission now is to kindle curiosity in others, helping them uncover their innate creative abilities and forge meaningful connections between art, science, and the natural world.
