Connecticut Tribal Panel Discussion

As a follow-up to the Fairfield Public Library’s One Book One Town author talk, you are invited to hear from our local Native communities. Join us for a moderated panel discussion with tribal citizens from four of the Indigenous tribes in Connecticut:

Schaghticoke
Paucatuck Eastern Pequot
Mashantucket Pequot
Golden Hill Paugussett

Panelists will discuss their life experiences along with topics from the One Book One Town selection including The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirit (MMIWG2S). Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during Q & A.

Open to adults & teens.  Registration is required.
