Stop for a spell amongst rustling leaves and winding paths for a special tour of Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport. Unearth countless stories and pay your respects to the souls resting here, including cemetery founder P.T. Barnum, industrialists like Dr. Ira DeVer Warner and Nathaniel Wheeler, Civil War Medal of Honor recipient William B. Hincks, and Titanic survivor Oscar Palmquist.
Space is limited. Registration is required. $10 for Members; $15 for Non-Members.

Tour Location: Enter through the gate at the intersection of North Ave. & Dewey St. in Bridgeport. Meet at the Chapel.
Program Details
- Pre-registration is required—no drop-ins will be allowed.
- Tours are approximately 60 minutes long and will depart on their ghostly journey promptly at 12 PM and 1:30 PM.
- Tours will meet at the Chapel in Mountain Grove Cemetery.
- This program is recommended for adults and kids ages 12 and up.
- Restrooms will be available.
- Please note that there will be one section of the tour that has a gradual uphill walk.
- Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. We will be standing and walking for extended periods, mostly on paved roads throughout the cemetery.
- In case of inclement weather, the Fairfield Museum will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Please check the Fairfield Museum website (www.fairfieldhistory.org) for weather-related updates.
- No refunds will be given unless the program is cancelled by the Fairfield Museum.
