He was the musical voice of James Earl Jones in the feature film “On the QT”. Writing in Jazz Forum magazine Robert Buczek said, “Wall plays incredibly; his improvisations are well constructed and convincing.” The Cleveland Plain Dealer adds, “He plays with a consistent power and imagination.” His compositions for dance, jazz orchestra, and electronica have been widely performed and recorded. His critically acclaimed release, “From the Belly of Abraham”, with Hasidic New Wave and Senegalese master drummers Yakar Rhythms was named one of the ten best CD’s of 2002 by Jazz Times magazine.

Greg moved to Westport, CT in 2013 to become the rabbi of Beit Chaverim Synagogue, where he now serves as Rabbi Emeritus. Greg is a founding board member of the Jazz Society of Fairfield County (JazzFC) where he serves as President and Artistic Director. Greg has curated a weekly Westport based Jazz series since 2015, performing weekly with a rotating lineup of internationally acclaimed NYC based and touring Jazz artists at Westport’s Jazz at the Post. His latest release, “Sound Advice”, with Andy LaVerne , was recently released. All proceeds go to JazzFC’s Micky Golomb Scholarship Fund.

David Morgan’s love of playing music started at age five when he began to learn how to play the piano, and the piano has been at the center of his musical ventures ever since. He grew up in California, where he says everyone had musical gear in their garages, and by age 11 he was already playing in his first band. He played all styles of music – pop, rock, blues, progressive rock, metal. What captivated him was the fun of playing live with other musicians, and his involvement with bands and love of performing has continued ever since.

Bring your own picnic and blankets/chairs and join us for a wonderful evening.
