A long-time resident of Connecticut, IMAGES 2024 Featured Photographer Isabel Chenoweth explores a variety of landscapes in her work, recording the visual shifts in natural habitats, whether through development, storms, drought, or climate change. She highlights abstractions and details in the landscape, which both reveal and obscure the complexity of nature.
This exhibition pulls from her series of photographs, Connecticut’s Tidal Zones, where she explores the state’s wetlands and tidal areas, delicate ecosystems critical to the conservation and preservation of natural resources.
